Our Process

We are dedicated to crafting artisanal stationery for all occasions. Inspired by our love for the endangered craft of letterpress, we create your dreams on paper. Whether it’s a simple thank you card, a journal to capture your garden’s quiet growth, or a photo album to preserve cherished memories, our stationery invites you to slow down and savour the art of correspondence.

Our process begins with a thoughtful design and ends with a tactile impression you can feel with your fingertips. Every piece is printed one at a time, on our antique press from the 1900’s. We print on luxuriously thick cotton and recycled papers, chosen for their texture, quality, and integrity. Every ink is carefully mixed by hand, ensuring perfect harmony with each design.

Nibu Letterpress is committed to sustainability, sourcing environmentally friendly materials, such as vegetable-based inks for printing and corn starch sleeves for protecting our products. Sustainability is also integrated in our studio, where every step honours the environment we create in, whether that is by recycling paper offcuts or using vegetable oil and zest cleaner for our equipment. We’re continuously making adjustments, both small and large, to reduce the environmental impact we have on our world.
